23M looking for a hiking group 🥾

23M looking to join a hiking group and meet some new people around Sydney.
I’ve been through a breakup recently and I’m trying to get out more, meet new people, and build a new social circle. I enjoy being active, cycling, going to the gym and spending time outdoors, so hiking seems like a great way to do that.
Would love to find a group that does regular weekend hikes, explores different places around NSW, and maybe grabs a coffee afterwards.
If you’re part of a hiking group or looking for someone to join, feel free to message me! :)

23M rebuilding my life in Sydney after a breakup - looking for friends and connection

Hey everyone,
I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but here I am.
I’m 23 years old and moved to Australia from Europe a couple of years ago to build a life with my partner. Sydney became my home, and I put a lot into creating a future here, leaving behind my old life, my friends, and my family back home.
Earlier this year, my relationship of around 3 years ended after I found out my partner had cheated with a coworker. It has honestly been one of the hardest experiences of my life, especially being so far away from home and having to deal with everything at once: losing the relationship, finding a new place to live, sorting out my visa situation, and figuring out what my future looks like now.
The hardest part has been losing the future I thought I was building and the feeling of having a home and a support system here.
I’m slowly trying to rebuild myself. I’m focusing on my career, going to the gym, exploring Sydney, and creating a life that is mine rather than one built around someone else.
I’m posting because I’d really like to meet new people and make genuine friendships in Sydney. Nothing romantic, I’m just looking for good people to grab a coffee with, train at the gym, go for walks, explore the city, have a beer, or just talk about life.
I’m usually around the eastern suburbs (Randwick/Maroubra area), but happy to meet people anywhere in Sydney.
If anyone else has gone through a big life change, moved countries, or is simply looking to make new friends, I’d love to connect.
Thanks for reading.

23M looking to rebuild my social circle in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs

Hey everyone! 😊

I’m a 23-year-old from Europe who’s been living in Sydney for the past couple of years. I moved here 3 years ago, and while I’ve settled into work, I’ve realised I haven’t really built the social circle I’d hoped for.

I’m a software engineer who enjoys staying active and getting outdoors. I spend a lot of time in the gym, cycling, hiking, exploring new cafés, reading, and making the most of Sydney’s beaches. I’m also into philosophy, travelling, and can happily chat about almost anything.

I’m based around the Eastern Suburbs (Maroubra, Randwick, Coogee and Bondi), so if anyone’s keen for a gym session, bike ride, coastal walk, coffee, hike, or checking out new spots around Sydney, it’d be great to meet some like-minded people.

A bit about me:
-23M
-Software engineer
-Speak English, Spanish and German
-Into fitness, cycling, hiking, coffee and good conversations

If you’re in a similar position or just looking to expand your social circle, feel free to comment or send me a message.

Cheers!
