Why equal paying is a right that both genders should have

I just had a really frustrating situation, i was trying to explain why two people working the very same job should be getting paid the same. His only argument was that that "men work to feed their families." Which is clearly a false argument so I responded with "not all men work to feed their families, just like not all women work just to spend the money on themselves" which is true because some women also need the money to feed their families, need the money to feed themselves, need the money. But that's not the point because when you are interviewing for a job, they don't ask you what you're gonna do with this money. You don't get paid for the mouths you or for the reason on why u need it, you get paid for what you doing. So two people no matter what are their genders, if they are working the very same job, they're both giving the same amount of labor, they both should be getting paid the same. For example driving heavy trucks, and that's a job thay needs a huge amount of labor and power. Even though yes this is a male dominated field but that doesn't mean their is no women working on, they can actually work this job. It's crazy how women have to argue with people just to prove that they deserve an equal right as basic as having the same payment when doing the same labor.

My thoughts on the serie Hannibal as someone who didn't finish it yet.

So there is a line that I've heard while watching Hannibal that really stuck to me. It's at the end of the second episode- first season. when they were talking about how Will felt when he killed Hobbs. So Hannibal said that God made a church fall on his worshiper, on 34 of his worshipers. So Will said: " did God like that?", did God enjoy doing that? Was he satisfied? And so Hannibal replied that god felt powerful, he wasn't satisfied, he liked the power . I felt like he was talking more about himself than about god.

I also don't think that Hannibal does believe in God, with all his philosophy and all. I don't think that he's a person who can believe in God or someone that is religious.

but I also wanted to share something. I do think that all of these cases are connected in some way, the killers are all connected to each other and to Hannibal in some way, especially in the scene where he called Hobbs. I have a theory, these characters are all connected to Hannibal in someway. Especially Hobbs, he's definitely connected to him. Hannibal knows them, but they don't know him. Maybe he did something to manipulate these ideas in them, because I don't feel like all these are theirs, or that they're truly their own ideas. It's more like someone put these ideas on their head.

Will Graham and Hannibal are very similar, they have a similar mindset, but also very different in a way that I also can't explain right now. It's like they have the same mindset but a different philosophy.I find it so fascinating. Especially how Hannibal is using Will to diagnose himself, or maybe to see himself for will's perspective.

Will is getting diagnosed by Hannibal, Will does know, he knows that Hannibal is diagnosing him, but he doesn't know that he's also diagnosing Hannibal without even knowing it.

It feels like Hannibal is using Will to see the cases from his own unique perspective but somehow they end up agreeing on something they see in a different way just like a mirror.
