I think the Jamie hate is unjustified.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but Jamie doesn't deserve 90% of the hate that he gets from his family.
The sterilization thing, okay, I can get on board with the hatred, even though he genuinely believed that he was helping and was trying to do what was in Beth and the family's best interest. But I'll buy that.
But I never saw someone get treated like such garbage by everyone for doing the exact things that they were telling him to do.
Even becoming a lawyer wasn't what he wanted. He wanted to be a rancher. That was forced on him and he was miserable.
His turn to villianhood was completely justified.
And let's face it. John Dutton was a good grandfather. But he wasn't a good father. John Dutton had children for his own interests.
Still enjoy the conflict, but I can feel for old Jamie.
