Shower leak guard

I moved into a new rental with my husband and the vinyl leak guard underneath the drip tray was completely decimated and covered in biofilm. The shower was flooding the bathroom so I removed the drip tray to discard the leak guard. I installed a new one as seen in the photo, but upon replacing the drip tray, I found that the screw holes are completely shot from whoever messed with it last. I’ve tried multiple times but the thing just pops right off since the screws aren’t gripping anything. There’s nothing behind the holes so I can’t fill them in with anything. I’m at a loss of what to do next without replacing the whole shower door which would cost a fortune. Is there some plastic or vinyl leak guard I could fit to it instead of the metal?

Auditory-tactile synesthesia?

I’ve done music my entire life (choir, voice lessons, performing arts high school, piano, etc) and from a very young age I’ve gotten this extremely intense pressure in my upper chest when I hear rich sounds like choirs and orchestras. I get goosebumps very easily from music and it’s actually embarrassing because they’re extremely visible and I hate that people can visually see how sounds are affecting me. Additionally, when I watch a singer perform and can tell they’re straining, I feel the strain in my throat and it’s physically painful and very intense. Are these symptoms synesthesia?

Botulism or fermentation?

I few months ago, my husband had an eye stye. I read online to flush it with raw honey water, so I sterilized a dropper bottle and filled it with distilled water and raw honey. He used the wash a couple times and then I stored the bottle with my herbal remedies. Today, I was going through my herbs and I found the bottle with the rubber squeezy thingy all inflated.

I brought it to the sink and slowly opened it to release the pressure, and it sprayed all over my arms. I’m wondering if there’s a chance it was botulism? It was the perfect environment; dark, airtight, low-acid, and honey is a common source of the bacteria.

I washed the skin super well with soap wherever it contacted, but I’m worried. I’m guessing it was more likely fermentation. Thoughts?

Voice Teacher in Salt Lake

I’m moving to Park City from Idaho at the end of the month and I’m sooo bummed to leave my current voice teacher. She’s a local performer and does lessons on the side to give back to the community. I prefer that so much more than someone that teaches voice as a career.

That said, I’m looking for my new teacher in the Salt Lake area; preferably someone that’s classically trained. My current teacher is super awesome because she does crazy silly stuff to “unlock” skills you’re lacking and pushes you till you get it. I love that teaching style and it really works for me. Any recommendations?
