I would appreciate an assessment of how competitive I might be for MBB MBA internship opportunities.
Professionals Background: Government
My background is in public-sector policy and strategy. I have worked as a Policy Advisor within the Ontario Public Service 4+ years, including roles at the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour, and Treasury Board Secretariat. My experience includes strategic policy development, health equity initiatives, workplace insurance reform, stakeholder engagement, jurisdictional research, quantitative policy analysis, and advising senior decision-makers on complex public-policy issues.
One of my notable projects involved analyzing workplace insurance funding and benefit reforms under Ontario’s Working for Workers legislation, including jurisdictional scans and financial policy analysis. I have also led procurement and evaluation processes, managed cross-functional stakeholder relationships, and contributed to major government policy initiatives.
Academics: BA : Politics Science ; MBA George Washington University
Academically, I hold a Specialized Honours BA in Political Science from York University and will be starting the MBA program at the George Washington University School of Business this fall.
