would it be worth it renting a car?
going from portugal at the end of august with my boyfriend for 4 days and we found a really nice appartment to stay in Mijas. was wondering if it would be worth it to rent a car (i've seen a few going for 160€ for the whole time we're staying). i know that there's trains and other public transportation but i'm uncertain about it because i've heard that parking could be really bad. i'm mainly thinking about it so that we could go to nerja in about half the time (same goes for other places). i'm unsure. so i wanted some opinions...
i want mainly a beach vacation so my plan without nerja was:
day1: malaga center until check in; check in in mijas; mijas' beach
day2: marbella day
day3: benalmadena dolphins' sightseeing + beach
day4: checkout; malagueta beach/malaga so we can be near the airport
if we were to be by car i think the whole of day3 would be for nerja and on day4 whilst we're going in the direction of malaga we would go to benalmadena.
i would like some opinions on locals/people who have visited.
would it be worth it to rent it for the whole trip or maybe just the last 2 days?
