Planning my weekend
Howdy, New Jersey or Jerseyans? I'm from out of town, one. My apologies for this heat wave. It seems that my state's weather just followed me here, lol. But I'm planning my weekend for a trip around the east side of your great state, and it starts Saturday with a trip down south towards the shores. I want to spend some time there, but would like to know which beach is best. I won't be here long, so I want to experience as much as I can. I was thinking of spending a good few hours at the beach, then driving out to an area to do a hike, and ending it off at night at Red Bank, where I've been told there's a huge bar scene for a lot of young adults my age. So: 1. Is this a good plan, or am I setting myself up for failure, and 2. Any good recommendations for beaches/hiking trails/bars? I only have so much time here, and I want to make the most of it. Y'all New Jerseyans have been so kind to me and my family through my move, completely shattering my expectations of the people and culture here. Thank you so much.
