Hi everyone, I graduated from an early college high school so at the moment 43/60 of my credits successfully transferred and mostly done with my gen ed requirements. I got my schedule but I’m not too happy with it. I’m gonna be taking a summer momentum workshop next week to be able to switch into precalc so hopefully I pass that and I’m not worried about math. I know the first semester schedules are made by the advisors so they’re locked but is there any way I can like change an elective I don’t like to take a more rigorous one? Like is negotiating with my advisor possible and if so what’s the success rate of that or do I have to wait till orientation day on August 11th to drop in changes? Add/drop too or do the classes get full quickly? Please someone help lol.

Hey everyone I just got hired for this company called Core ABA therapy in the bronx, their website is coreabatherapy.com, could someone tell me what it’s like working there or heard about any reviews online? I can’t find much of anything online about them. I have 0 experience and I’m starting the 40 hour training course by AFP.

Also idk if i should work for them, when I did the interview they said they’re like a family and tight knit and online I keep seeing videos of avoiding companies who claim to be like a family bcs they end up being toxic or something lol. Also the person that interviewed me emailed me asking if im available to meet up on a specific date and I replied immediately saying no but that I am available other days. I followed up 3 business days later and she saw my message 2 hours after I sent it, left me on read for a whole day until the 4th business day and said she’ll pick a date soon but it’s been 2 days, i already did the onboarding process and im gonna get my first case when I complete 15 hours of the course. This is my first time getting a job and I graduated last month and going to college, I hear lots of stories of aba companies to avoid and I would like to have some reassurance or advice. Maybe Im overthinking and this is normal lol.

Hi, I’m an incoming freshman (psych major) and so far I’ve been offered a 1 day paid opportunity which i’ve been accepted into, I was wondering how hard is it to get a part time job (15-20hrs per week) as a freshman at Hunter? I’ve already downloaded Handshake and applied on Hunter Helpers. But I wanna know how hard it is to actually get your job application accepted. I want to know what jobs are on campus during the academic year and how it works. What jobs do most students take on for part time? How many days a week? Also please do give some job offers if you have any.

I'm an incoming psych major, so I just saw my schedule built for me and I don't like it, below is a screenshot of it.

1. I plan to send in my immunization forms this week to upload it, I heard you can make your schedule with your advisor during mandatory orientation but it seems like it was already made for me, I'm also taking the MPT on June 30th so I don't know if it'll change, also I just don't want morning classes or coming in all 5 days of the week.

2. Does anybody know if I can hit up my advisor at any point before orientation to change the schedule or do I have to wait? I know spots for harder and better classes get filled up quickly so that's why I wanna change asap.

3. Do recommend me some classes to put into my schedule as a psych major.

4. Also I am coming from an early college high school so how do I know if all 60 of my credits transferred? I looked at the transfer credit report and all the college classes I took in HS in the last 2 years are there but I can't tell or see anywhere that says transfer successful idk guys pls help me I'm struggling to understand.
