As a reminder, the same person who first leaked that Kingdom Comedy creators were working on Lord of the Rings confirmed the DLC for W3 after Boris's words. He also worked on W1 back in the day :)

Rysław, during a live broadcast with Kingdom Come, made an important point: This DLC is definitely in the works, and many people around him have confirmed this. The problem is that it has to pass Cdpr's review. It has to be good enough for Cdpr to approve its release, as the bar for the previous two is high. If Cdpr doesn't like the DLC in the end, it can be cancelled, as it doesn't officially exist.

I'm currently playing AC4. The combat system is a typical action game, and weapon selection has no effect beyond cosmetic animations. It's not that choosing the hidden blade combats differently than with a sword or requires a different strategy. It's a difference in animation, nothing more. So, if blade combat animations will be carried over to enemy finishers during combat, what's the problem?

This does not change the gameplay in any way.
