Question about the wainwright occupation

this is a very minor question but I am curious about it. if you roll wainwright on the occupation table you get a pushcart. you roll 1d6 to determine what’s in the cart and if you roll a 4 it says “your dead”. what does that mean? the other results are like rocks and dirt and stuff.

What phrases do you hate your players saying?

There are some phrases (like “I HAVE A BOMB”) that tend to trigger alphas. Do you have any special one? For example, I hate it when I tie a player to their chair (they disrespected me) and they scream and say “LET ME OUT”.

I understand that they’re all betas but I just hate it when I have to incapacitate them.

Worst part is when they‘re unrestricted (no chains or anything) and the player just angered me, the alpha of the table, or they died in the game (8 hours post session of intermit water boarding) because they didn’t slip me 20 bucks.

edit: I noticed I missed some important details. I understand incapacitation builds bone density, that’s why I use it a lot. My issue is when you look at your players like “hey you can try the mystery pills I gave you. Like use the blue ones to smell colors or something, idk. It’s a fresh batch.” Then they go full boring mode and go “I wanna go home!” And then they start crying.

good thing my current subjects tried to steal my money and then they “agreed“ to play dnd 5e I mean pf2e I mean GURPS.

I’m worried I can’t play gurps with my group

so I’m very new to gurps, I have ordered the two basic set 4e books and I think it looks like a really fun game. I’m in a group that meets weekly when enough people are available, and we started out doing dnd 5e, but as we’ve gotten more into TTRPGs, we’ve started liking dnd 5e less and less. The main reason I want to move away from 5e is because of minmaxing. one of the players minmaxes constantly, and I think it’s ruined sessions for the rest of us. I found dungeon crawl classics, which seemed perfect because character creation is totally random. I ran a one shot for it and we had a lot of fun, but the minmaxer said he wanted more character customization, to which I jokingly brought up gurps. He had never heard of it, but he looked it up and was immediately interested. He got the basic set books and has been telling me how much cooler the powerbuilding is than DnD. I’m worried he will do the same thing he did with DnD and I will have to play gurps without him. Is powerbuilding a problem in gurps? If so, how do I deal with it?
