HELP!!! Need a job at/close to Tempe campus

I've been job searching like crazy since the month of May especially through ASU Workday and have received rejection after rejection. I've had several second interviews only to be turned down. At this point, I'm ready to do anything for work so long as it's near Tempe campus so that I can balance school and work. I need to get a job by at latest late August as my mom has gotten married recently and wants to move and I don't want to hold her back from that. The goal is to secure a job ASAP and move to an off-campus ASU housing after working for a little. Any job recommendations/general help is appreciated!!

How Exactly Does Federal Work Study Work?

Hey guys! So I plan to work a FWS job this semester because I really wanna live off campus for the last two years of my bachelor’s. I’m really looking forward to it, but I get a bit confused when the financial aid page says I can make up to $3000. From an ASU article, it states that I cannot work earn more than my FWS award. Does this mean once I hit $3k, I’m gonna have an immediate lay off? Or does it mean something else? This is my first time working a FWS job, so nothing is too much information. I mostly need to know so that I can see if I should get a standard part-time job near ASU on top of the FWS job, or something like that to keep paying for off-campus housing. Thanks to everyone who responds! ^^

TLDR: How does FWS work and should I get a part time job on top of it to afford off-campus housing.
