Retroarch PS5_RPCS3 Compile Help

Has anyone else tried compiling this on Windows 11 yet.?

http://github.com/mihawk-99/PS5_RPCS3/tree/main/BUILDING.md

I’ve been initially attempting it via the Visual Basic sln solution route although when I build the release of rpcs3 I’m getting a ton of problems. 807 Errors & 4 Warnings.. 😳

Installed Checklist:

- Visual Studio 26
- Python 3.14.7 (64-bit)
- Qt 6.12.0
- Vulken SDK 1.4.341.1
- Visual Studio Qt Plugin
- CMake 4.4.3

Confirmed Settings Checklist:

- Qt version set in Visual Studio
- LLVM libs extracted to *\build\lib_ext\Release-x64
- Configuration value set to Release
- CMake added to Environment Variables PATH
- Python added to Environment Variables PATH
- Qt added to Environment Variables PATH

I’ve also tried building using the Visual Studio CMake solution which givens me an error when I attempt to Configure Cache:

CMake Error at *\PS5_RPCS3-main\CMakeLists.txt:10 (project)

Finally, I tried the standalone CMake tool although that throws an error because it’s looking for Visual Studio 17 2022.

“CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:10 (project):
Generator

Visual Studio 17 2022

could not find any instance of Visual Studio”

Argh.. 😣

Anyone got any advice/solutions.? I’m downloading Visual Studio 2022 to see if that fixes the CMake related errors, that’s my final roll of the dice really..

Considering I’ve got a computing degree & work as a high level engineer, good luck to any unskilled person trying to compile this. I know he’s explicitly stated that he doesn’t want people compiling/uploading/sharing it, however, it’s gonna be impossible for the average person to obtain otherwise.. 😅
