I have a PS5 (disk version) sitting in a box from Day 1 launch.

Looks like it's ready for backups and Linux finally! I've been out of the scene for years and l'm finding all the info quite overwhelming and fragmented. Also want to make sure to do everything right and not mess anything up.

It seems like updating to 4.xx is the way to go for backups/ backports and Linux? Can someone please provide a bit of guidance on how should go about my PS5 jailbreak journey? What jailbreak method should I use for the full Hypervisor exploit? Any tutorial links would be highly appreciated.

I got a very weird bug when playing saros from internal drive: some of the game's sounds are not working properly like when shooting or looting object.

When I launch the game from external hard drive it works flawlessly but since it's not an SSD, the game stutters and there's a lot of pop in.

Any idea how to solve this problem ? I've also tried the exfat format and used shadow mount plus but the file can't be identified (placed it in etaHEN/games)

Hi guys, I moved a game with itemzflow from external ssd to my internal m2 and it completed with some kind of error, now half of my game dumps wont work it says "cant start the game or app". I tried with both itemzflow and shadowmount to launch them but it throws the same error with Ce 105737-3. I tried redownloading the game, bacause I thought that my ssd got corrupted but it wont work again. Has anyone dealt with thia before? The other half of the games work fine thou. Thanks in advance!

Anyone else test out Crimson Desert on 4.xx backport ? Mine just loads then reset my console on shadowmount and Itemflow but RE Requiem works just fine so i don't think its anything I'm doing.

I was about to buy a brand new PS5 Disc edition on firmware 11.60. I wanted to wait for YTJB (linked to the Patience jailbreak) to come out so I could use the Blu-ray unpatcher, since it's under 12.00.

But then I started thinking that this might actually be impossible. If I'm not mistaken, running YTJB requires a factory reset of the console, which unpairs the Blu-ray drive from it... so am I screwed

I know its unmoddable as of right now but im getting conflicting information. Is star wars racer revenge patched digitally? I was going to buy it then disconnect my ps5 from updates but im being told it is patched, then being told actually its fine. Im just confused.

Hey folks! I picked up a new CFI 7019 PS5 Pro still sealed, with the firmware reportedly on 9.6 based on the serial number.

I’m curious if it’s worth jailbreaking this as I likely never will have PSSR 2.0 that comes with 13.0 (potentially). I want to be able to play newer games/ back ups/DLC for games I bought naturally & utilize cheats / save game modifications / hacks.

Does current PS5 JB/Homebrew allow running games like Yotei / Pragmata on 9.60?

I have a PS5 10.6 disc version I'm patiently waiting for a JB on but have seen a PS5 pro 9.6 or 10.01 for £560 which seems like a decent deal.

I've been patient for so long but is the upgrade worth it for you? What do you guys think?

i’m debating whether to keep my ps5 offline on 13.00 or just update. i was on 12.7 but my dumbass sister updated to 13.00, at least i didn’t agree to the new terms so i can just play it offline for now, since the games don’t have that 30 day license. will we see any jb for 13.00 this year?

It seems like it is now if you are on the latest firmware due to pssr2, but given jailbroken consoles don't get that benefit as of yet is it worth buying a PS5 pro jailbroken if your PS5 fat is already jailbroken?
