Decrypt savedata ps4 demo Lua

Is there a free way to prepare my PS5 for a future jailbreak that doesn't require a jailbroken PS4 or the paid "Save Wizard" program? I’ve created the save files on my PS5, but I have no idea how to decrypt them to add what’s needed and then re-encrypt them

Witcher 3 crashes on startup 11.60

I’m trying to get The Witcher 3 Complete Edition backup working on PS5 pro running 11.60, but it crashes as soon as I launch it. I also tried it on a Slim running 12.20 and got the same result.

It’s the only game I haven’t been able to get working so far. I’ve tried both exFAT and folder format, but no luck.

Has anyone managed to get it running on 11.60 or higher? Thanks a lot in advance

*EDIT - all ps5 game backups are on external SSD homebrew folder, using kstuff lite and shadowmountplus

*FINAL EDIT- Update: I managed to get it working.

The issue wasn't my firmware, kstuff lite, or ShadowMount Plus. I tried a different copy of the same game that didn't include a fakelib folder, then copied the fakelib folder from another copy of the same game (includes the 3 files). After that, the game launched normally.

So if anyone else is stuck with the instant startup crash, it may be worth checking whether the fakelib is the problem rather than assuming it's a firmware or ShadowMount issue. At least in my case, replacing only the fakelib fixed it.

Hopefully this helps someone else who's running into the same issue.

PS5 12.70 first jailbreak always crashing

So I recently got the PS5 slim and updated to 12.70 to jailbreak it using the Y2JB, as u know the first time it takes 50 minutes to get jailbroken, it was successfully done the first time, the jailbroken notification popped up but the console crashed after before the payload manager got loaded, and I had to do it all again now, is this normal and I should try more than once or there's something I gotta do?

(PS5 App Dumper)

  • Added Support UpTo 13.20

A small utility to dump PS5 application files from the console's pfsmnt to a connected USB storage device. This project builds into an ELF payload that runs on the PS5 and copies the app files to a mounted USB drive — it does not support network transfers.

PS5 jailbreak scene is moving fast right now

A lot is happening in the PS5 jailbreak scene this week.

PS5 Linux got a major update, there’s new progress with A53 game loading, Kstuff and ShadowMount got updates, and the recent Sony disc news makes the preservation side of this even more important.

I put together a quick video breaking down what changed, what people should be careful about, and why I don’t think everyone should rush to update their console just because they see 7.61 support mentioned.

Curious what everyone thinks — are you staying on your current firmware, testing Linux, or just waiting for the game-loading side to mature more?

Frozen ps5 after playing ps4 games

Hi , I'm on firmware 11.60 (Digital Edition) using the latest Y2JB/P2JB and the latest versions of all payloads.

Plk autoloader 0.9 , kstuff lite 1.08 (i tired all kstuff lite versions)

I'm having an issue with Rest Mode. If I put the console into Rest Mode, wake it up, and then launch a PS4 game, it runs fine for about 5–6 minutes. After that, a notification appears saying "kstuff active again", the game goes to a black screen, and a few seconds later the entire console freezes.

A full shutdown and re-jailbreak completely fixes the issue. It only happens after resuming from Rest Mode.

As far as I know, several other people are experiencing the same problem. Have you seen this before, or do you know if it's a known issue with kstuff or Resume on 11.60?

Anyone can help me?

I recently got a PS5 PRO on 10.01 and i was looking around a bit and seems like p2jb with y2jb seems the most common thing that everyone's using. Im wondering is there a better exploit + y2jb for my firmware since i dont like waiting 50+ mins for a jb

Possibly bricked? Gray screen after turning on.

Title says it all I tried to install a update file for a game. Then booted up Gray screen. I've tried every safe mode option. I tried recovery file going from 2.7 to 4.03 and still grey screen. Has anyone experienced this.

Youtube App?

Trying to do the new mod, but it's saying I need the youtube app to do it? When I try to get the app, it wants me to update the ps5 first? What should I do?

Just repaired a 7.20 digital phat and immediately traded my 13.5 Disc Phat for it immediately.

Work at a local game store and my co-worker brought in a console from 3 years ago with substantial board damage.

Fixed it and immediately traded my disc model for his digital.
