You Can Now Play Physical PS2 Discs on a Jailbroken PS5!
Developer Sword has demonstrated a new feature in PS5SX2 that allows a jailbroken PS5 to read physical PlayStation 2 discs directly from its disc drive.
Sword also credited Al-Azif for the work that made accessing the PS5’s optical drive possible.
This is another exciting milestone for the PS5 homebrew community. Hopefully, we’ll see more improvements and better compatibility in future updates.
