Just administered my first dose! A little nervous to be honest..
First dose tonight, hopeful but nervous after my experience with Wegovy
I just took my first 2.5 mg dose of Zepbound, and I’m feeling hopeful but nervous. I tried Wegovy in the past, but I didn’t lose much weight and felt sick all the time. Looking back, I also wasn’t making the best food choices. After stopping it, I developed bad acid reflux and felt like my stomach wasn’t the same. I’m not sure whether that was related to Wegovy, the weight gain, or something else.
I’m now taking stronger medication for my reflux and want to give this another try with Zepbound, while being more mindful of what and how much I eat.
My biggest fear is feeling sick again. I just want to feel like myself, quiet the food noise, and lose the weight I’ve gained over the past three years.
Has anyone had a difficult experience with Wegovy but tolerated Zepbound better? I’d love to hear your experiences and what helped you when starting.
