Based on what I could find and analyse from this subreddit is that no one has got a rank below 1000 , everyone has been assigned their ranks relative to their PGCET marks and nothing else , Since the result link on the KEA website has "provisional" written in it , my best guess is that they have not separated the GATE candidates out yet , again my best guess is that they could release another "Merit-list" for Mtech candidates when GATE candidates are put into the under 1000 rank pool and adjust the ranks above 1000 based on PGCET marks for PGCET candidates irrespective of the engineering branch .

This is just my theory please don't hold me to it😃
