The 9 o’clock marker randomly fell off the dial, so I opened the watch up and glued it back on myself. Now I’ve been staring at it for so long that I honestly can’t tell anymore if it’s straight or slightly crooked.
Would appreciate some fresh eyes on it:
- Does the 9 marker look aligned?
- Is it straight relative to the other markers/text?
- Anything else look off?

I visited a friend who works at an Omega boutique, and we compared the two Aqua Terra Turquoise 38mm watches side by side. The dial was extremely similar in terms of color and the gradient transition. Honestly, there was not much difference there. The main thing we noticed was the bracelet. The gen had more polished and refined chamfered edges, which made it feel a bit more premium overall. The weight was also slightly more balanced and a little heavier, but the difference was not huge. Other than those details, it was honestly very difficult to tell which one was the genuine watch.
Hey guys, looking at this Submariner and just wanted some extra eyes on the horizontal alignment. Don’t need a full QC, just some help with this specific detail.
I’ve been staring at the 3 and 9 markers and can’t decide if the 3 marker is sitting slightly higher than the 9, or if it’s just the angle/camera distortion messing with me. In some pics they look perfectly level, but with the alignment tool it looks a tiny bit off.
Does the 3 o’clock marker look aligned to you guys, or am I overthinking it? Any noticeable tilt?

Looking for some input from those who’ve handled both. I currently have a VSF Submariner Date with the 3VV bracelet and it’s been a great piece.
Now I’m considering adding a No-Date Sub. I’ve seen some TDs recommending VF lately, and I’ve also read that VF may be using Clean parts.
At this point, is VF actually better than VSF for the No-Date, or is VSF still the safer/better option? Any firsthand experience or comparisons would really help.
