How to join Dallas Formula Racing?

I'm coming to UT Dallas as a freshman this fall for mechanical engineering. I'm wanting to work in motorsports for my career after college. I feel like the Dallas Formula Racing team would be amazing to work with and gain experience working on a race car! I was wondering how I could join? Is there a place at the beginning of the semester I can go sign up? Or do I have to do something else? Also I was wondering, I don't have much engineering experience, will I still be able to join freshman year and help on the engineering side even if it's just listening, learning and helping anywhere I can? Or do I have to wait to get more experience before I can join?

Do I have to sign up for all of my classes during orientation?

I'm at orientation and tomorrow I have to schedule my classes with an advisor, the only thing is, I'm in mechanical engineering and I took my ALEKS exam and struggled a lot and flunked it just from not being a good test taker but also I didn't study crazily for it. I can't take it again until after my advising session so I was wondering can I just skip my math course right now and then retake my ALEKS assessment to get a higher grade to get into math or am I just cooked?

Could my college admission be taken away because of a failed dual enrollment class and a withdrawal?

I’m graduating high school this semester and I’m supposed to attend UT Dallas this fall for mechanical engineering. I was homeschooled and took dual enrollment classes, and they were going well until this last semester. This semester I took 4 college classes. I ended up withdrawing late from one class and I may receive a failing grade in another. The classes were economics and math, which is why I’m extra worried since I was accepted for mechanical engineering. I’m just really stressed and wondering if something like this could cause my admission to be rescinded before I even start. I know the official answer has to come from admissions or advising, but has anyone been in a similar situation with dual enrollment grades after already being accepted?
