It’s official: Lichenoid Dermatitis likely due to drug eruption (reaction pattern) and GLP1 is the only medication I’ve been on other than vitamins.

Anyone out there have their LP correlated to GLP1, specifically Zepbound? Doc says it’s rare but they are seeing new cases popping up more and more.

Obviously I will stop taking it so we’ll see in about 6-8 weeks if my rashes improve. I sure hope so.

Does any natural remedy or over the counter or web advertised product actually work?

I can’t even begin to start with all the money I’ve spent on products … either over the counter or the ads that come up on my social feeds constantly or the natural remedies people swear by … and nothing has actually helped flatten out or stop the spread of this. I have it on my hands and feet but also patches all over my body. I have a follow up doctor appt soon and I really don’t want to be put on any of these prescriptions because they all seem to have horrible side effects or risks of cancer associated with them. I am currently on Dupixent (for about 6/7 weeks so far) because I actually have eczema and asthma too but I don’t know if it helps with skin LP.

Eczema + Lichen Planus … am I the only one?

I have a history of eczema but it has seriously flared up a few months ago and while doing so I started getting another rash on my hands, wrists, arms, feet. It was misdiagnosed by a dermatologist PA as all eczema this was after multiple other medical providers (PC and urgent care) thought it was something else too. I had a second opinion derm appointment last week and she said it looks like Lichen Planus and eczema and maybe something else uhg! She took samples for a biopsy. I am super itchy and skin is bumpy and dry all over my shoulder, back and thighs. It’s miserable. I was put on Dupixent, it’s been 4 weeks with only some very minimal relief. Just hoping to hear from others who may be dealing with multiple flares and what are you doing to heal and cope?
