Xbox Game Pass is removing games on July 15 — here's the confirmed list so far:

PowerWash Simulator

Stellaris

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

EA Sports FC 24

Golf With Your Friends

Dungeons of Hinterberg

Super Fantasy Kingdom

Techtonica

You have 10 days left to finish these before they're gone.

Note: this list isn't final — Microsoft usually adds more titles in the days before removal. Keep an eye on the "Leaving Soon" section in the Xbox app.

Also worth mentioning — Xbox CEO literally said the business is not in a "healthy place" right now. After the $30 price hike disaster, millions left. They dropped it back to $22.99 but the damage is done.

Great games, rough year for Xbox

GTA 6 branding mysteriously disappeared from the PlayStation app right after Sony's disc controversy

Booted up my PS5 today and noticed the Vice City takeover on the dashboard, the app icon, and the redesigned store are all gone. This happened right around July 3rd — literally days after Sony announced it's killing physical discs starting 2028.

There's a theory going around that Rockstar asked Sony to pull the branding so GTA 6 doesn't get dragged into the backlash. No official confirmation from either company, but the timing is... something.

Anyone else notice this on their console?

Is 'Digital-Only' inevitable, or are we just letting game preservation die without a fight?

We’ve been seeing a lot of debate lately about games getting delisted and becoming unplayable for new buyers.

On one hand, many say it's just 'how the industry works now' and that convenience wins. On the other hand, a lot of us are frustrated that we don't truly 'own' the games we pay for.

I’ve been reading through some heated discussions, and it seems like we’re stuck between two extremes: either we accept the digital future, or we get angry about it. But is there a middle ground? Can we demand better ownership rights or better preservation standards without just bashing the platforms?

What’s your take? Is there a way for us to have both the convenience of digital stores AND the security of actually owning our games?
