Topaz Video Starlight model question

When using Starlight precise or mini locally, do these models load only once and slow the first time, and processes subsequent batch videos faster or does it have to load model each job if same model is selected?

Lets say if I try to process 3 videos 1 min each 30 FPS, then I see job completion time is equal implying models are loaded every time or am I misinterpreting it?

When I use other open source diffusion models, its slow the first in ComfyUI but subsequent jobs are very fast.

Accepted to Nursing Program, but orientation conflicts with family medical responsibilities, any advice?

Hi everyone, I was recently accepted into the Nursing program at a University in Minnesota, and I'm excited to get started. However, I just found out last week that the required orientation is scheduled for next week, and it appears to be only one day long. The problem is that I'm currently in California helping care for a family member with significant medical needs. My planned return flight to Minnesota is only about a week before classes begin. I'm trying to figure out whether I need to make an additional round-trip flight just for orientation, which would be difficult given my family situation and the cost/logistics involved. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is the nursing orientation absolutely required to attend in person? Are there typically any alternative dates, makeup sessions, virtual options, or accommodations for students dealing with family emergencies? I've tried emailing and calling the nursing department, but so far I haven't received a response, and I'm feeling stuck because I need to make travel decisions soon. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Lennox AC Issue suggestions

Looking for opinions from felloe homeowners and HVAC experts.

Home:

  • Sacramento, CA area
  • Built in 2021, 2,500 sq ft, Double-pane windows, newer insulation, zoned system

Issue:
During very hot days (95F+), I noticed water dripping from the secondary/emergency condensate line into the auxiliary pan in the attic.

I checked the drain:

  • Primary drain appears to flow normally
  • No obvious clog
  • Tech also poured water into the drain and found no backup during testing

System info:

  • Lennox zoned split system
  • 2.5 ton condenser
  • 3.5 ton horizontal furnace/evap setup
  • Tech says condenser is undersized for the house
  • Builder previously said system sizing was intentional due to zoning and efficiency of newer construction

Tech findings:

  1. Blower wheel dirty and recommended cleaning($300)
  2. Evap coil has noticeable corrosion near refrigerant line entry and lower coil
  3. Heat exchanger allegedly shows corrosion/discoloration and “likely breach”
  4. Recommended:
    • blower cleaning
    • capacitor replacement
    • float switch
    • evap coil replacement (~$5k–6k)
    • OR full system replacement ($15k–25k)

Performance readings:

  • Return temp: 74F
  • Supply temp: 50F
  • Delta T: 24F
  • Total static pressure: 0.31

Questions:

  1. Does this sound like a normal aging/maintenance issue or major failure?
  2. Can an evap coil with visible corrosion usually be cleaned if cooling performance is still good?
  3. Would corrosion alone justify replacing the EVAP coil or the whole system at only ~5 years old?
  4. Does a 2.5 ton zoned system sound truly undersized for a newer 2,500 sq ft California home?
  5. How concerned should I be about the “likely breached heat exchanger” wording without combustion test?

Images attached for both EVAP coil and heat exchanger.
