Has anyone experienced high shipping fees with these guys I went to order 2 bags of milled corn(48lbs) and they charged me $160 for shipping alone

I was doing a spirit run on some honey mash and it started puking over but until later on in late tails, is my run ruined or should I just toss the end of tails

Looking for a single hot plate that will give me consistent heat instead of coming on then shutting off

Looking to start a sour mash but I’m not a huge fan of adding sugar to mash, I was thinking about doing a grain on grain approach with saving about 6 lbs of left over fermented grain with 3 gallon of backset which would replace some ingredients in my normal 15 gallon mash bill.

Tried making some watermelon, and blueberry brandy. Used about 3lbs of macerated fruit and about 1lb per gallon. No enzymes. Both smelled wonderful fermenting but once it was distilled they tasted very terrible.

They were outside in the sun but the buckets were not clear, I strained out the fruit out before distilling let the yeast settle and siphoned off the top. The watermelon was fermented with the rind so I figured that was my issue there but no clue about the blueberries. Ran everything super slow went deeper for the heads cut just to make sure
