Portfolio Review - Age 26, high risk appetite, goal is long-term wealth creation
Hi everyone,
I am looking for feedback on my planned mutual fund portfolio which i will start from 1st July.
Context:
- Risk appetite: Aggressive
- Goal: Long-term wealth creation
- Horizon - minimum 10-15 years (with annual 10% step up)
- Investment mode: SIP across all funds
- App used: Groww
- Allocation:
| Category | Fund | Monthly SIP (₹) |
|---|---|---|
| Flexi Cap | Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund – Direct Growth | 4,000 |
| Mid Cap | Invesco India Mid Cap Fund | 2,000 |
| Small Cap | Bandhan Small Cap Fund | 2,000 |
| ETF | Nifty BeES | 3,000 |
| ETF (Gold) | Gold BeES | 1,000 |
| Credit Risk | Invesco India Credit Risk Fund – Direct Growth | 1,500 |
| Total | 13,500 |
Why these funds?
1. Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund (₹4,000) - Core holding — flexi-cap gives diversification across market caps + some international exposure without active management from my side.
2. Invesco India Mid Cap Fund (₹2,000) - Recommended by someone
3. Bandhan Small Cap Fund (₹2,000) - Used Morningstar's MF screener to analyze the Small cap category funds and found this the best option.
4. Nifty BeES (₹3,000) - Low-cost passive index exposure
5. Gold BeES (₹1,000) - Small hedge against equity volatility;
6. Invesco India Credit Risk Fund (₹1,500) - Added for some debt exposure with better yield potential than regular debt funds.
