Norway Visit Visa

Is it true that Norway is quite strict when it comes to visit visa applications sponsored by an aunt or uncle? I’m currently waiting for the result of my second application after my first application was refused. The reason for the refusal was that the embassy had ‘reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory of the Member States before the expiry of the visa’.
For my second application, I worked hard to address that concern. I’m a student, this will be my first time traveling abroad, and we only requested a 27-day stay. I also strengthened my proof of ties to the Philippines by submitting additional supporting documents to show that I have strong reasons to return after my trip. My application status on EES is still showing “Not OK,” just like it did during my first application, so I’m feeling quite anxious.
Has anyone here been approved for a Norway visit visa under similar circumstances, especially with an aunt or uncle as the sponsor? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience. Thank you!

Norway Visa Worries

I’m really nervous about my Norway visit visa application. It’s sponsored by my maternal aunt, who is a Norwegian citizen, and all of her documents were complete. We applied for a 61-day stay.

What worries me is the proof of ties I submitted. I only provided my Certificate of Enrollment with the school seal, proof of my tuition down payment, and my previous school ID. I also forgot to mention in my cover letter that the down payment was for the upcoming school year, and that we’re currently on vacation break.

My passport is already in transit from Thailand back to the Philippines, so I’m just waiting for the result now. To make things worse, I also checked the EES website and it showed a “not ok” result, which made me even more anxious.

I don’t know, I’m probably overthinking everything, but I keep feeling like the embassy officer might not be convinced enough that I’ll return to the Philippines after my trip.
