English isn’t my first language, so sorry if I explain this badly, but I could really use some advice.

I have two cats. One is quite small and eats very slowly, like she prefers to graze throughout the day. The other is a big cat and eats extremely fast. If food is left out, he will just eat everything.

Because of this, I already use a feeder for the big cat so he doesn’t overeat, but I’m struggling with the small one. She doesn’t really do well with scheduled meals and prefers to come back to her food over time. The problem is that if I leave her food accessible, the big one will just eat it all before she gets a chance.

So I’m trying to find a solution where:

The big cat can’t access the small cat’s food

The small cat can still eat slowly over the day

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any practical setups, feeder types, or tricks that worked for you?
