I actually made the second picture first, but the grey one can be seen as a prequel to the pink one.

I lost my mind this weekend. Being so unhappy with what I've been doing with my time came to a head.

​

I've decided that I'm going to spend a lot of time making art.

​

The grey painting is inspired by Rosalia's song "Berghain". It kinda encapsulates how I felt for the past few weeks.

​

The pink painting is how I hope to feel eventually when I keep focusing on making myself feel busy and accomplished.

​

I hope that if I give myself something to work on everyday and focus on improving on my "craft" (lol I cringe at saying that), I will feel at peace.

​

I'm still a beginner artist even though I've been creating on and off my whole life. I am determined though to actually improve and make things more technically sound. I also hope to learn more about art this year.
