I’m out of the 200s!

Im (barely) out of the 200s! I haven’t been under 200 since freshman year of high school (I’m 31). Started at 297 three years ago, and it’s been a slow process with lots of hiccups but I’m so proud. More work to do but today I’m celebrating this win with a mani pedi 💅

Ps- please ignore the body fat %, that is part of the work to be done 😂

My brain is lying to me.. I think!

So in total I’ve lost 92 pounds, I’m so close to being out of the 200s!! I’m very proud of my progress, but sometimes I look in the mirror and see no difference. I try to keep track of non scale victories and not let everything be dictated but I see in the mirror, but also how I feel and things I’m able to do much easier now. These photos are 70 pounds apart, yet sometimes I look at them and see no change. Anyone else have this? It’s so annoying sometimes, but I know my brain is likely lying to me.

Weigh less than I did in high school!

After weeks of feeling like I’m making no progress I have hit a stride the last month and been losing consistently and feeling great.

I went back to look at my weight when I graduated high school through mychart and I was 206 pounds, as of this morning I am 31 years old and 202 pounds!!

I have a long way to go still, but I started this journey two years ago at 297 pounds and am almost in the 100s. Feeling proud and trying to remember the accomplishments I’ve made rather than how far I have to go.
