yesterday i thought he was dying and i put him in a spot but guess what? today he didnt die and moved from that spot, can still move his antennae and moves his legs a bit like yesterday, and since then i figured out he had a medium wound between his thorax and abdomen on the underside, probably from the squash, but good news, he is still not dead.
ti turns out that that poor oriental cockroach had his baxk lag comeletely detached, with only a single strand of sticky goop holding it, so i carefully removed it now, but today hes been acting more and more inactive, i think these are his final moments 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 (but his antennae are still moving and can still moge his legs)
(dang i hope im not posting too much) MOST of the time rosches just get misunderstood as dirty, ugly, scary but honestly i think that theyre CUTE AF like im not doing hate speech i respect people's opinions but c'mon like that? i like them.
so i was recently away and while i was away one of my hssing cockroaches died (the female died) they didnt have names, the one that died was red ans had no horns, and the one that's still alive is yellow with horns so yeah, its sad to see since he she was special 😭 so the story is: i got them from an exotic insect exposition and the guy gave me 2 of them which was a female and a male, and i thought it was okay until they started making babies, one bactch, then another, then stopped, and the female died :( i didn't add nsfw because there are no images of the dead one
hello people, fellow roach/any insect enthusiast here, i found this poor little roach outside, im thinking hes an oriental cockroach, though not sure, found him in brasov, romania on his back.
injury: he is missing one of the front 2 legs near the head, middle pair of legs is intact, back pair of legs also had one missing, and the remaining one is not moving at all. he also seems to have been squashed a bit, because some yellow goop was leaking out but it seems to have gotten better and the goop retracted almost fully (you can see a bit of the goop near his only back leg)! he is still aware, can sense and is active, so only major injuries. i think he is an adult already so no future molts, and also what i did was take him home, make an enclosure with moist spongy soil, bricks for hiding and an apple slice for food and a sponge for hydration. (i will remove the apple slice in 24 h, wash the sponge with water, and i also opened the small box and shifted the bricks a bit to be able to take a photo of him and i put the stuff back and closed it and now he is sleeping i think)
so basically i searched which month has the letter x in it (AS YOU CAN SEE) and it said "october"🤦
