Explorers pulled a rusted, decades-old capsule from the ocean and immediately transported it to Space Headquarters for analysis. Inside the sealed viewport sat a corpse, its face twisted into a massive, wide-eyed grin .

As headquarters directors and police gathered around the glass to identify the body, the facility’s power completely cut out .

For five seconds, the sound of heavy, mechanical breathing echoed through the pitch-black laboratory.

When the backup generators kicked back on, the capsule was empty. The latch was still locked tight from the outside, but the interior glass was smeared with wet, fresh handprints .

Eirik was a devoted berserker who believed his near animalistic fury gifted by Odin himself.

But his bloodlust eventually consumed him. After slaughtering innocents, Odin cursed him with the beast he already was.

He transformed into a monstrous wolf, the pelt he wore become his skin, deforming and shifting his anatomy during a full moon.

The beast walked Midgard, preying upon the followers of the gods, for this night hunting a caravan of Thor worshippers.

The warrior who worshipped the gods became their punishment.
