Just Lost State in the Most Heartbreaking Way Ever

I played in the senior division for little league and went to state this past week. We played at Zipp Family Sports Complex in New Braunfels, Texas. We are Heights-Norhill Little League. We are a small, historic league rather than a suburban powerhouse, so it was an amazing feat that we made it this far. Anyways, in the fourth inning, the score was 3-12, with them batting with bases loaded and no outs, one run away from getting mercy ruled if we didn’t score by the fight. We ended up getting out of that jam and making it into the 5th. We ended up getting a huge rally and at the end of the first half of the fifth it was 11-12. They then scored 4 runs making it 11-16. So into the sixth we go. We ended up laying everything out on the field and somehow took the lead, 17-16. So bottom of the sixth, huge inning. We had to hold them here. We fought to 2 outs, which they scored to runs. So going into the top of the 7th, it was 17-18 and we had to score one run. We had two outs with no one on. We then loaded the bases. Our 2 spot hitter got to full count. The pitcher pitched the ball, and he smashed it on the ground. The second basemen dove for the ball and gloved it and pitched it to second base for the force out. The final score 17-18.

Do You Regret Being A Bassist?

I have been playing bass for almost 5 years now and go to high school for playing bass, but have started regretting it because I feel it is less “cool” and respected than the other instruments. This id mostly for my fellow rock musicians because once I started jazz, it got better. However whenever I’m playing rock I get simple bass lines and no respect from the crowd at all. Does anyone feel the same?
