I have been on here and YouTube often trying to learn as much as possible about setting up my first mesh core system.
I have a wio tracker L1 pro and will be building a repeater with a heltec v4. I have a few questions regarding the heltec v4 build:

I plan on using a 10000mah battery connected directly to the v4 with a solar panel charger.
I’ve read that the v4 does not have a low voltage disconnect and that has the potential of damaging the battery. Is directly to the v4 the common method or is a charging management board recommended?
I believe I’ll want to use the lite sleep firmware as well, the one issue I’ve read is that the clock will not stay accurate due to sleep mode. Does anyone find this to be an issue? Once the repeater is setup, should I set the
l1 tracker to a companion? Any and all input is welcomed.

I know little to nothing about mesh radio and I’m trying to learn things as simple as the terminology, and would like to ask a few questions and see if someone can help provide me with an absolute beginners list of required devices/materials to get started. Also can mesh core be used without a cell phone app? Can I use another device in place of my cell phone? Thank you!
