There are fireworks at the lake this weekend right? Does anybody know what time?

Does anyone know what is going on right in front of the bar on Chapman? Huge police presence and they are closing the street.

Can somebody help me understand? The lease renewal department of my apartment called me today saying that they could give me an offer for "negotiated" rent price that is going to last for 24 hours. It's about $77 cheaper than what was sent in original offer yesterday. They said I can either let the offer expire and continue to call back every 24 hours to see how the market rises or falls or take the offer and not risk gambling with the "rent market/ base rent”. Help?
