My routine

Morning

Water pik

Swish with parandotax mouthwash

Brush with sensodyne Stannous flouride tooth paste, I use Extra soft bristles ( dentist recommended )

After break fast

Wait 25 mins

I use interdental brush and then use a prescription flouride tooth paste with xylitol - 2 mins brushing and technique taught by hygienist

All day after food I use xylitol mints ( 3 )

Night

I use interdental brush

Thread floss

Water pik

Swish with Paradontax

Tongue scrapper

Brush with sensodyne

Wait 5 mins

Swish act fluoride mouth wash

Brush with prescription flouride tooth paste

Xylitol

Before bed

I done want to over brush and cause issues . Do I have to brush after midday meals ? I use water to rinse and then xylitol

I had osseus surgery on my left side 11 weeks ago and 3 weeks ago at my check up doctor said it’s all healing well but recently i noticed when I open mouth wide it hurts on the corner ( near the ear ) , only when I open wide . It’s difficult to eat now . I am out of country so I am just managing . Today I noticed a subtle swelling and now I m scared like hell . What is happening!???

Doctor is not responding but is very eager to know when am i scheduling next side . At this point I m worried what if l lose my ability to open my mouth and eat

I can’t do this anymore , my doctor is pressuring me to do surgery on the other side , the side I went with surgery has huge black triangles and recession. I have stopped smiling and talking . I used to be a happy person and now I am diagnosed with depression and anxiety after the procedure . I clean my teeth and gums well but still had aggressive disease don’t know why . I have been now having bad thoughts . After surgery my mouth feels foreign . I don’t want to eat scared that it will cause issues . It takes me 30 mins every morning and evening to brush and floss . I can’t take care of family . I dread visiting dentists . Every morning I wake up thinking end my life

I m venting here and I don’t think my periodontist understands it’s hard on my mental health .

I have been on top of my dental hygiene and in today’s cleaning they said I had no plaque and didn’t bleed either but there are pockets . What does this mean ? I did surgery on one side and have no mental capacity to go through on other side

After the gum surgery , my dentist had put a splint in the back of my upper teeth to limit mobility but after 4 weeks it came off . Tomorrow is Sunday and I m here worried what to do .
