18F with severe depression, Im starting to live...

My room has been a disaster for months. I just… couldn't.

Today I finally found some energy and tackled the mess. The floor is harder to clean than I imagined, sticky marks from spilled drinks, crumbs everywhere... took me a while, but thank God for my robot vacuum. I feel better now, for the first in a long time, I actually want to be more better. I'm trying...a small win today

A few accessories I picked up for him lately

Been slowly adding a few everyday pieces to his rotation.

He usually wears bracelets more than anything else, so I picked out two dark bead styles that are easy to wear with casual outfits. They have a little detail to them without being too noticeable.

I also got him a simple pendant necklace. It works well on its own or layered under a shirt, and he’s already been wearing it more than I expected.

Not a huge haul, just a few small things that felt practical and personal.

Heads up from someone in the battery supply chain, prices are going up after summer

I work adjacent to battery manufacturing and LFP cell costs have been climbing all year. Most brands are going to pass that through in the second half of 2026. Already seeing preliminary price sheets for Q3 and they're not pretty.

If you've been putting off getting a power station or adding capacity, Prime Day this week is probably the last time you'll see current pricing. Just a heads up.

Clean Summer Staples I've Been Wearing a Lot Lately

Recently picked up a striped button-up and a beige polo, and they've quickly become two of the most-worn pieces in my wardrobe.

Nothing complicated about either one. Just clean colors, comfortable fabrics, and easy fits that work for pretty much any day of the week.

The striped shirt has a light, relaxed feel that works well on warmer days, while the polo is one of those pieces that instantly makes an outfit look a little more put together without any extra effort.

What stood out most to me was the fabric. Soft, breathable, and comfortable from the first wear. The fit is also right where I like it—not too slim, not oversized, just easy to wear.

I've mainly been pairing them with chinos, denim, or relaxed trousers, and they seem to work in almost every situation, whether it's grabbing coffee, heading to dinner, or a normal workday.

Lately I've been appreciating clothes that don't need much styling. Good fabric, clean proportions, and timeless colors usually end up getting the most wear.

9 Underrated Shoes I've Picked Up Recently

Been leaning heavily into darkwear, archive fashion, avant-garde silhouettes, and low-profile footwear lately, so I figured I'd share some of my favorite recent pickups.

A mix of independent designers, niche brands, futuristic designs, and retro-inspired pairs. Every shoe here brings something different to the table.

Some standouts:

Wrapped Low-Profile Sneaker
The layered lace/wrap construction around the toe instantly caught my attention. The suede and technical fabric combination gives it a really sleek, almost concept-shoe look while still being wearable.

Polished Derby
Classic derby shape but with a much heavier and more modern feel. The glossy upper and wider sole make it feel less formal and more fashion-forward.

Retro Trainer / Football-Inspired Sneakers
Probably the easiest pairs to wear daily. The vintage color blocking and old-school training shoe shape give off strong archive sportswear vibes.

Yausye Tech Sneaker
One of the more futuristic pairs in the lineup. Mixed materials, exposed details, hardware accents, and a sculptural silhouette make it stand out immediately.

Succinct Loafers
These surprised me the most. One pair features western-inspired metal hardware, while the other uses heavy ruched detailing around the toe. Both feel much more fashion-oriented than traditional loafers.

Hair-On Mule
Super simple but surprisingly eye-catching. The textured upper changes appearance depending on lighting and works really well with wide-leg trousers.

Studded High-Top Boots
All-black with studded straps, patent leather panels, and side zips. Easily the most aggressive pair here and probably my favorite for darker outfits.

Styling

Most of these work best with:

  • Wide-leg trousers
  • Pinstripe pants
  • Flared tailoring
  • Stacked cargo pants
  • Dark monochrome fits

The overall palette is almost entirely black, charcoal, and muted tones, which makes mixing them into everyday outfits pretty easy.

If you could only keep one pair from this lineup, which one would you choose?

Summer Quiet Luxury Outfit I've Been Loving Lately

I feel like a lot of guys default to a plain white tee and shorts once summer hits. Nothing wrong with that, but lately I've been trying to add a bit more texture without sacrificing comfort.

This combination has been one of my favorites recently.

Top: Grey cable-knit polo
Bottom: Oatmeal linen trousers
Shoes: German trainers

What makes this outfit work for me is the contrast in materials. The knit polo feels structured and refined, while the linen trousers bring that relaxed summer vibe. The mix keeps the outfit looking intentional without feeling overdressed.

Color-wise, the cool grey and warm oatmeal tones balance each other really well. Clean, understated, and easy on the eyes.

The polo has subtle cable-knit and ribbed details that add texture without being too loud. The trousers feature a relaxed straight-leg fit with pleats, which gives them a nice drape and makes them comfortable even on hotter days.

Finished everything off with a pair of German trainers. The suede details and vintage-inspired silhouette tie the whole outfit together perfectly.

Lately I've realized that some of the best summer outfits aren't the most complicated ones. Good fabrics, clean fits, and a simple color palette usually do most of the work.

Picked Up 9 New Shirts Recently. Which One Fits Me Best?

Been trying to improve my daily wardrobe a bit, so I ended up picking up 9 different shirts over the past few weeks. Some are more relaxed and oversized, some lean more clean/classic, and now I honestly can’t tell which style actually suits me the most.

A few friends said the lighter colors make me look cleaner, but I personally feel the darker ones are easier to wear daily. Also realizing fit changes everything way more than I expected.

Would appreciate some honest opinions:
Which shirt works best on me overall?
Which ones feel the most versatile?
And what kind of pants/shoes would you pair with them?

Still trying to figure out whether I should lean more minimal, casual, or slightly smarter casual for everyday outfits.

Skip the Hype: 5 Clean Fit Looks for Elevated Daily Wear

Sharing a few recent favorites that lean into that Urban Mature/Clean Fit aesthetic. No loud logos here—just sharp cuts and a solid color palette to carry the look. Feel free to use these as a template for your next rotation:

🧥 The Lookbook

  • Minimalist Monochrome: High Street Sharp A cropped black harrington-style jacket paired with crisp white cargo trousers. Black and white is a timeless combo that never misses. Throw on some retro runners and a black cap to keep the silhouette clean and elongated.
  • Heritage Prep: Elegant Earth Tones This one is for the detail-oriented. The black jacket features a subtle houndstooth collar that adds a lot of character. Paired with dark brown micro-check trousers and deep coffee-toned derbies, it hits that perfect vintage-meets-modern sweet spot.
  • Urban Tech: Muted Grays & Blacks The gray-and-black palette is the essence of Clean Fit. A pinstripe collar jacket matched with charcoal trousers and minimal black leather sneakers creates a sophisticated, understated vibe that’s perfect for the office or a casual dinner.
  • The Modern Rogue: Gray Tones If all-black feels a bit too heavy, swap in a charcoal jacket. Pairing it with black slacks and square-toe loafers creates a relaxed, "effortless" style. Adding a keychain accessory to the belt loop brings in that small bit of personality that makes the fit feel lived-in.
  • Rugged Texture: The Leather Edge Ending on a stronger note: a black leather-textured jacket paired with pleated charcoal trousers. Layering a houndstooth collar underneath adds immediate depth, while the polished black loafers tie the whole high-texture look together.

💬 Which of these sets is your favorite? Let me know in the comments if you need any specific details on the materials or the fit!
