We need to know the reason for a thumbs down

Does anyone else find it demoralising to get a thumbs down? Especially when I feel like I've had a good day. But whenever I've messaged support to find out why they never tell us.

So I wonder what the point of using a punitave measure such as thumbs down if we have no idea what went wrong & therefore could never do better in the future.

I'm also sure there are thumbs downs that are completely out of my control (due to wait for restairant to make order).

Does anyone here want to learn from Richard Murphy but find him such a twat?

When I first discovered his videos a few weeks ago I found them a really valuable tool to learn more about MMT. But as I've seen interviews of him being OVERTLY rude to guests and others in the MMT space, I think he's damaging the cause in some ways. Pushing through a political agenda as big as MMT is going to require creating alliances, not alienating people because you think you know best and can do it alone.

Regarding the comment attached - it is a snippet from the comment section of his blog. I know how he isn't embarrassed to type and post that on his blog.

Side note: 50 families own 50% of the wealth in the UK. We do have a class problem in this country.

Sharing requirements

Hello, I'm new to soulseek, and have shares some beats I had downloaded from some old DJ attempts and I am sharing everything I download. I've got a couple dozen files shared.

I just downloaded an ebook file from a user with no bio, so thought there would be no requirements. Just got a message from them that their requirement is 500+ shares to download from them.

Genuine question from a newbie - how is one supposed to share that much without downloading anything first? Unless I upload my personal pictures, I don't know how to hit that.

Just genuinely curuous about the mindset behind this
