Quelqu'un a déjà utilisé cette machine ?

Bonjour

Except for Australia, which country can field the strongest team?

If there were a World Cup including pro players, which team would be the favorite to face Australia in the final?

I’ve done my own research, but I’m sure I’m missing a lot of players. I had to complete the England squad with 4 local players, even though I’m sure dozens of eligible players are playing in the WAFL, SANFL, or VFL...

The visual designs were generated using AI, so some players might not be placed in their actual positions.

Papua New Guinea, the USA, or Fiji could also field competitive teams with a few AFL players.

Is Gavin Hume the hardest hitting fly half ever?

I saw a post earlier asking who the hardest-hitting fly-half of all time was, and I noticed nobody mentioned Gavin Hume.

He might not have been the most media-hyped player, but he was certainly one of the hardest tacklers around. Whether playing at center or fly-half, he spent the bulk of his career at Perpignan, along with stints at Clermont and started his pro carreer at Stormers.

He was actually the starting fly-half for Perpignan in their 2009 Top 14 final victory when Dan Carter was out injured.

Black Lion to sign 14 players, including Moana Pasifika star and Top14 player

The Black Lion roster for the upcoming season is locked in, and the recruitment strategy shows a very clear shift in intent. Instead of just acting as a developmental pathway for local talent, the franchise has targeted specific profiles to build a rugged, professional spine capable of holding its own in European competitions.

The headline business this window centers around two massive additions to the tight five: Michael Curry and Vakhtang Jintcharadze. Curry, the 32-year-old Samoan international lock from Moana Pasifika, brings 21 Super Rugby caps and 15 test selections to the engine room. He is exactly the type of uncompromising tight-five anchor this pack has lacked. Partnering him in this new core is hooker Jintcharadze, who arrives from Montauban with proven Top 14 pedigree. Having a hooker battle-tested in the brutal tight exchanges of French rugby will instantly stabilize Black Lion's set-piece and maul defense.

Right behind them, the squad has been reinforced by a high-caliber secondary group designed to inject immediate leadership and tactical variety. Giorgi Kveseladze returns from Grenoble, bringing 78 caps of international experience and his trademark midfield defense back to Georgia after stints in the Premiership with Gloucester. He is joined by fellow ex-Grenoble prop Giorgi Mamaiashvili, a crucial 23-year-old talent with 9 caps who represents the future of the Lelos' scrum. In the loose forwards, the recruitment splits between the explosive, dynamic link-play of Kiwi backrower Amaani Vercoe-Aoina (via the Taranaki academy and Tuggeranong Vikings) and the sheer grit of Otar Giorgadze, a 37-cap veteran formerly of Clermont and Brive. Adding Davit Arveladze, a physical 23-year-old lock from Rennes in Nationale, further solidifies this heavy-set rotation.

The rest of the incoming class rounds out the squad with elite youth and domestic standout performers. Keeping the current U20 captain Luka Narsia and lightning-fast scrumhalf Temur Dzodzuashvili within the domestic pathway is a massive win for the union. They will develop alongside reliable Didi 10 standouts like props Giga Kobakidze (RC Batumi) and Giorgi Kimutsadze (Aia Kutaisi), young hooker Shota Kheladze (Aresi Kutaisi), and fly-half Davit Inmadze (Tsikara). This group also includes sevens specialist Roma Makhatadze (RC Batumi), who is fresh off earning his very first test cap for the 15s national side just last week.

They will certainly need every bit of this newly found depth and experience, as they have been drawn into a brutal Challenge Cup pool alongside the likes of Toulon, Vannes, Harlequins, Edinburgh, and Ospreys.

Georgia U20 extented squad named for home World Rugby U20 Championship: Shioshvili is in!

The Lelos just dropped their extended 35-man squad for the upcoming U20 Championship at home. The group will be trimmed down to 30 before the tournament kicks off, but we already have some massive talking points.

First, the bad news: Lyon’s back-rower Luka Saghinadze (Beka’s younger brother) had to withdraw due to an injury. Huge blow for the pack, really gutted for him.

On the bright side, talisman Mikheil Shioshvili (the one scoring the Top 14 try in the video) is officially locked in. The guy has been absolutely tearing it up this season with 3 Champions Cup appearances and 4 tries in 9 Top 14 games for Toulon. Reminder that he was already the top try-scorer at the 2025 U20 World Cup, so having him back for a home tournament is massive.

He’s not the only Toulon prospect coming in either. Two of his club teammates are joining the camp: lock Davit Baramia, and Basa Khonelidze, the U18 scrum-half who is making the step up.

A few other French-based players to look out for: Lyon's Davit Barbakadze, who has been killing it with their academy, will be one to watch in the midfield. Also, Vannes' new signing Davit Arobelidze is included in the back three.

In terms of preparation, the boys just came back from a tour in South Africa. It was a bit of a mixed bag: two solid wins against Fiji (29-23) and Chile (59-26), but a heavy blowout against the Baby Boks (57-14). Since then, the squad has been heavily reinforced with those 11 French-based players joining the camp.

We still have two warm-up games scheduled against the USA and New Zealand to fine-tune everything before the opening day.

Here is the full 35-man list:
