Update on my AliExpress dispute — I finally received a return address after 4 months

UPDATE:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Aliexpress/s/ERjTqMmoLe

After four months of going back and forth with AliExpress, they have finally provided me with a return address. I blurred it in the screenshot for privacy.

The return page now says:

“A solution has been reached so please return the item before Aug 30, 01:05 AM PT, otherwise no refund will be processed.”

It also says “Return shipping paid by: Seller.”

At this point, I have two questions for people who have dealt with this before:

Would you actually send the item at this point? I've seen posts/comments saying that after such a long dispute, AliExpress may later refuse the refund for various reasons.

What exactly does the August 30 deadline mean? Do I simply need to ship the package and submit the tracking number before that date, or does the package actually need to arrive at the seller's address before August 30?

After everything that has happened with this case, I really don't want to send a $70+ item internationally and then have AliExpress tell me I missed some deadline or that the refund is no longer available.

What would you do in my situation?

I also asked AliExpress specifically to clarify what that deadline means. Surprisingly, they gave me another generic response telling me to return the item, without answering the question.

Would you consider it safe to send the item at this point? Anything I should do to protect myself before shipping it?

AliExpress return/refund issue — stuck for 4 months and unable to return the item

I’m hoping someone here can help me because I honestly don’t know what else to do.

I bought a Gulikit KK3 Max controller on AliExpress. The controller arrived defective, and I opened a dispute requesting a refund. I provided videos showing the problem and all the information/evidence from the beginning.

This has now been going on for about four months.

During those months, every couple of weeks I would receive another update saying that my case had been escalated to the “Senior Team” or was still being reviewed. I patiently waited.

Eventually, AliExpress approved a return for a full refund (around $70). I accepted the proposed solution and was completely willing to return the controller.

The problem is: AliExpress never gave me the information necessary to actually return it.

I need basic information such as:

- The recipient's name

- The complete return address

- Phone number

- Any other information required by the local post office to send an international package

I repeatedly contacted AliExpress asking for this information. Instead of answering, I kept receiving generic copy-and-paste responses telling me to “follow the return guide” or “check the Return/Refund Details page.”

I checked it repeatedly. There is no return address there. The only option available to me is “Contact seller.”

I even contacted my local post office to verify what information is required to send an international shipment. They confirmed that I need the recipient's name, address, postal code/city/country, phone number, etc. I sent this information to AliExpress to explain exactly what I was asking for.

Still, they kept telling me to check the same page.

At one point, AliExpress told me that the return address would automatically be provided after accepting the solution. However, I had already accepted the solution. The screenshot of my Return/Refund page shows the request waiting for AliExpress' feedback, with no option to accept the solution again and no return address.

I have repeatedly explained this to them, but their responses continue to say essentially the same thing: “We are waiting for you to return the item.”

How am I supposed to return it when they have never told me where or to whom to send it?

I’m now completely exhausted by this. I’ve been an AliExpress customer for years and have only made a few claims in all that time. I’m not refusing to return the product. I’m not refusing to pay the shipping cost upfront if necessary. I am literally asking them for the information required to send the package.

I’ve probably exchanged dozens of messages with Customer Service at this point, and it feels like nobody is actually reading what I write. Every time I explain the problem, I receive another generic response telling me to do something I have already done.

So, has anyone experienced this before?

Is there something I’m missing? Is there another way to obtain the seller's return address or the actual return instructions? Is there a specific department or escalation method that can finally resolve this?

I just want to return the damn controller and get the refund AliExpress already approved.

Btw I'm from Costa Rica.
