I’m an incoming international student at the University of Debrecen and I’m considering renting an apartment in Fényes Udvar.
I’d like to ask people who currently live there or have lived there recently:
How safe is Fényes Udvar nowadays, especially at night?
Would you feel comfortable walking alone there after 9–11 PM?
Are there any streets or parts of the neighborhood that should be avoided?
How is the atmosphere around the apartment blocks at night?
Are the hallways, entrances, and surrounding areas usually well-lit, or are they often dark?
Have you ever experienced or witnessed any safety issues (harassment, theft, suspicious people, etc.)?
As a first-year international student, safety is one of my biggest concerns, so I’d really appreciate any honest opinions or experiences.
