Just obtained my Einbürgerungsurkunde after less than a month of waiting: Landkreis Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald
Not a ragebait or anything, just wanted to let you know, that if you have the option to move somewhere where your application will be reviewed earlier and you really need the passport asap, you should just move. Just ask the local Ausländerbehörde beforehand. In Freiburg an application is reviewed for about 2 years — move 5 kilometers outside the city and it becomes three weeks. Whish y'all the best of luck!
