I’m so tired of this. It makes EV mode practically unusable when ambient temps get above 85°F.

Has anybody tinkered with the cooling duct? Added a fan?

Thoughts?

We’ll see how they do. I just got them today and they’re… ok I guess. I put the rain covers on before taking the photo so that’s why they look super weird.

Definitely a new personal best. I can’t wait to get the software update though. Being able to switch in and out of EV mode at higher speeds would definitely come in handy. I bet 90+mpg would be possible.

I got curious about this connector on the side. Seeing as it shares the same purple shrouding as the 48V battery I figured it was a safe bet it was connected to the 48V battery. The multimeter confirmed the voltage…

Is this what the dealer uses to charge the battery? I’ve never seen the service manual so I’m not sure.

It’s a no-prep surface, and I just couldn’t figure it out. Either the back end was sliding out on me or it was a slow launch.

Any suggestions on how to launch this bike better?

Best tank MPG yet. I think she’s got a little more in her, but I cant resist Sport Mode (from time to time). 🤘

First time in 16yrs of riding I’ve ever had this happen. It’s a fuck of a bolt too!

I’ve only had the bike two months so anyone who has experience with these have recommendations for rear tires that have decent grip but are efficient? I mostly use the bike for easy rides and occasionally spirited riding. Ive been happy with the Dunlop SportMax 05A thats on it.
