Brain fog/ mental state
Hi! had the worst panic ever a few days ago (thought i was going into psychosis) ended up going to the er just to rule out anything physical. turns out, i have covid. i guess this is day 3? as soon as i got the diagnosis my anxiety calmed a tad but my mental fog remains the same. i am so scared and terrified of long covid. anyone here with success stories of their fog lifting after the infection has ran its course? i start clinicals and school full time next month and this cannot happen to me. it just feels like im out of touch with reality, cant hold a conversation and completely mental fog. i was fine before this. success stories please because all i see is that people have this symptom linger for even up to a year. this is quite literally my only symptom other than nightmares
