Nude lip rules?

Hi all! Looking for rules for wearing a nude lippy. I got one of Mac’s nudes, and it was literally the color of my skin- I could have just swiped concealer on my lips. Is there a rule for finding the right shade? For reference, I’m medium light, neutral undertones, auburn hair.

Black lipstick but make it casual

Hi all- I’m in a “slick back low bun, hoop earrings, dark lipstick” phase currently. I have worn dark brown, but I want to step it up a notch. Is there any way to wear a black lippy but NOT make it goth/vampy?

Hi all! I’ve attached a couple pics of my L eardrum. I have scar tissue which has been there since I was about 1 yo, and hasn’t caused too many issues. So that’s a known issue. But for the past couple months, my left ear has felt like I need to pop it- like it’s full. I’ve tried wax removal drops, swimmers ear drying drops, a special machine to help me pop it more thoroughly (Eustachi) and ignoring it in hopes it will resolve itself (hasn’t worked). In that ear, I have mildly dampened hearing but not to the point of being problematic. I finally took a look this AM with a digital otoscope and it looks weird. Like I said, the white scar tissue has been there, nbd. But what are the dark scallop-edged areas/spots?? Any ideas? My best guess: it’s dark fluid behind the delineated borders of the scar tissue. Would that be blood in my ear behind the TM? If so, I have no traumatic history that would explain it. Should I be concerned? Going to make an ENT appt but wanted to see what crowd sourcing could do. Thank you!

Edit: I have not had a nose bleed in years nor have I been on a flight since well before the symptoms began. Same with using the Eustachi- I used it because the symptoms were already present. My most recent CBC a few months ago was normal. When I was a child I had chronic ear infections- I was one ear infection away from having tubes put in (as in, if I had one more infection that year they would have pulled the trigger, so while I almost had them, I never had tubes).
