Standalone fantasy recommendations with great world-building & romance? ⭐

Hi everyone! 😊

I'm on the hunt for an amazing standalone fantasy novel. I've been reading a lot of series lately, and I think it's time for a break—I just want to dive into one unforgettable book.

I don't mind if it's 900+ pages as long as it has incredible world-building, a compelling story, and characters I can really get invested in.

One thing that's important to me is that the main character has a romance subplot. I don't want the romance to be the main focus of the book, but I'd love it to be a meaningful part of the story. I'm also not looking for anything too smut-heavy—a well-developed romance or a slow burn would be perfect. I especially love romances where the emotional connection and the characters' love for each other take center stage, rather than the physical aspect.

I'd also prefer the main character to be at least 21 years old.

I'm open to all kinds of fantasy, so if you have a favorite standalone that completely captivated you, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks so much in advance! ❤️

Looking for fantasy romance books with deep love and little to no spice 🫶

Hi everyone! I’m looking for fantasy romance book recommendations where the romance feels genuine and emotionally deep. I want the kind of love that makes you smile like an idiot while reading because of the way the characters care for each other 😭

I’m personally not a huge fan of very steamy books. I don’t mind a little bit of intimacy, but I much prefer fade-to-black scenes or books where those moments aren’t the main focus. What I really love is seeing the relationship grow through their words, actions, loyalty, comfort, and all the little things they do for each other.

I’m mainly looking for:

- fantasy romance

- deep emotional connection

- protective love interests

- caring and affectionate relationships

- chemistry through dialogue and actions rather than spice

A few extra preferences:

- No love triangles, please

- I love first-love romances, although that's not a requirement

Would love to hear your recommendations! 💕

Can someone help me find this manhwa?

Hello everyone! I came across this picture on Pinterest, but I couldn’t find the title of the manhwa.

So I was wondering if anyone knows where this picture is from and what the story is about?

Thank you in advance!!

Why do I never finish manhwas I love? 😭

Does anyone else do this with manhwas?

I have a problem lol. Every time I find a manhwa that I really love, I never end up finishing it!!

There’s always something in me that suddenly stops reading. Sometimes it’s because I look at the last chapter or ending first to check if the MCs end up happy. I literally can’t stop myself from spoiling the ending because I NEED to know if it’s a happy ending for them.

But the weird thing is… even when I see that the ending is good, I still somehow stop reading 💀

Does anyone else do this? And does anyone know how to stop doing it hahaha 😭

I honestly hate it because I end up ruining so many stories for myself.

It Was Just a Contractual Marriage — What Did You Like More?

Hey everyone, I recently started reading It Was Just a Contractual Marriage and now I’m curious about the novel too.

For people who read both the novel and the manhwa, which version did you prefer? And what do you think each one did better?

Also, does anyone know where I can read the novel?
