[M4F] 46, Northern Ireland — I clean, I cook, and yes, the rubber gloves are optional
Somewhere between my 30s and now, I went from "cleaning is a chore" to genuinely rubbing my hands together on Sunday morning like I'm about to defuse a bomb, except the bomb is dust on the skirting boards. Music on, hoover out, and by 2pm the house looks like a show home nobody asked to view.
I used to think this was a red flag. Now I'm wondering if it's actually a green one, proof I can be trusted not to leave a pizza box marinating on the coffee table for a week. Somebody validate me here. Is "gets weirdly happy vacuuming" a personality trait people find attractive, or is this just what happens to men once we stop pretending we're still 25?
Asking for a friend. The friend is me. The friend needs rescuing...
Bonus points if you also find a spotless kitchen unreasonably attractive.
