Found an insect in my pizza. The way the restaurant handled it was worse than the insect itself.

TL;DR: Found a caterpillar-like insect with our pizza after we'd already started eating. My pregnant wife felt nauseous, and later flies landed on the pizza, so we asked the staff to take it away. No one apologized, we waited around 15 minutes and had to ask for the bill multiple times, and we even returned 20 minutes later to give feedback ourselves. The next day, the restaurant apologized over the phone but said the new staff "didn't know Hindi," which didn't make sense since they had no trouble understanding our order, payment, or request for the bill. The lack of empathy and accountability disappointed us far more than the insect itself.

My wife and I went to Si Nonna's in Dwarka yesterday. She's pregnant, so we just wanted to have a nice dinner.

We ordered a pizza, macaroni, and a mocktail. Everything was fine until we'd both eaten a slice of the pizza. Then we noticed a small green insect (looked like a caterpillar) on the table.
A little later, a fly came to our table. We ignored it and shooed it away ourselves. Then another one came and landed directly on the pizza. At that point we had enough, so I asked the staff to take the pizza away. We didn't create any scene. No apology. No manager came to speak to us. Nobody even asked if we were okay.

My wife immediately felt nauseous. I felt very bad, because i wanted to have a nice time with her. She was hungry and now all of this made her nauseous.

After waiting for a while, we asked for the bill. Instead, we were told they were making another pizza. I said we didn't want another pizza, we just wanted the bill. We then waited for around 15 minutes and had to ask for the bill 2–3 times before someone finally brought it.

The pizza wasn't on the bill, so they knew about insect. But nobody paid any attention.

My wife was still hungry and feeling sick, so we went downstairs to Haldiram's to get something else. Around 20 minutes later, we actually came back to the restaurant because I felt they should at least know what had happened. Even then, nobody really seemed concerned. They just offered us some bread. We weren't looking for free food. We just expected someone to say, "We're really sorry."

Today I got a call from the restaurant asking to delete the review and offering us a free pizza and a drink next time. Then the person on the call said, "Ma'am, jo new staff hai unhe Hindi nahi aati thi."
That honestly confused me.
The staff understood our order, understood when we asked for the bill, and understood the payment. So why was language suddenly the issue?

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but it also made us feel judged. My wife was wearing a simple long kurta, and I was just dressed casually. We're both graduates, and hearing that made us wonder if they assumed we wouldn't understand English because of how we looked.
I'm not even upset because an insect was found. Things can go wrong in any restaurant.

What disappointed me was that after finding an insect in our food, nobody came over to apologize, we had to ask for the bill multiple times, and we ended up leaving feeling like nobody really cared.

BLO came home and literally said "Form nahi bhara toh vote kaat dunga"

Aaj meri mummy ke paas phone aaya jisme caller ne paucha ki meri mummy, papa and didi kahan rehti hai. Fir bola ki mai aa raha hun ek form fill karna hai.
BLO tha aaya mai aur papa bahar gaye toh bola "ye form hai, agar nahi bhara toh vote kaat dunga". Bilkul dictatorship hai bc ye toh, papa ne bhi zor se chila diya uspe. Ki tu kaat hi le vote, form bhi kyu dena hai. Fir line pe aa gaya ki nahi nahi mai toh isliye bol raha hun ki log baat ki ghambirta ko nahi samjhte. Pta nahi kis baat ki akad hai inko.
Aur list mai mera naam bhi tha, par mera form hi nahi laaya. Bola ki acha reh gaya.
Saalon se khud toh kaam hota nahi aur akad itni hai
