Why do restaurant drinks always taste better than homemade ones?

Why do restaurant drinks always taste better than homemade ones? Maybe the fancy glasses and expensive prices secretly add extra flavor somehow.

Genuine lasagna for the first time, realised that true italian cuisine is very bland and just tomatoes :(

Got 5 hours to kill before my Dehradun bus tonight. Any indoor places to chill?

Hey guys, I am in Delhi for some work today and will be completely free by 6 PM. My bus to Dehradun is late tonight at 11 PM.

Since it is boiling hot outside, I really want to avoid roaming around in the summer heat.

Can you please suggest some good indoor spots or cafes near a metro station where I can get good veg food and just sit/unwind for a few hours? Want to stay close to the metro network so I don't get stuck in traffic later. Also i am not interested in smoking and drinking...🥲Thanks in advance!

Looking for top-tier Jain dining spots in GK2 (Strict Digambar rules) 🌟

Hey guys! Living in GK2 and desperately looking to treat myself to a premium dinner outside because I'm totally bored of home food.

Since I observe strict Jain rules—absolutely no root veggies, onions, or garlic—I need a place with immaculate kitchen practices and exceptional taste.

What are the best pure-veg fine-dining restaurants or highly-rated spots near the M-Block market that handle strict Jain requests flawlessly? Drop your recommendations or DM me if there's a hidden gem I should check out!

KONA at Greater Kailash 2

Was meaning to go and try this for a long time. Finally got the chance this weekend.

The place is very small and has limited space for seating (4 stools lined up next to each other and there’s space at the back side to accommodate few people who can eat while standing). It is best if one has their own four wheeler to sit and eat.

The person attending customers was a well behaved lady and she sounded very happy with her little establishment. The menu was certainly very interesting with quirky names.

Coming to the actual food, the items are priced on the higher side considering the portions on offer but if one can afford it then they are delicious.

Thoughts if any of you had the chance to try?
