I just got this K98 Bayonet, and i would be interested in any info about it! I know the bayonet itself is from 1936, nothing else. Its a mismatch, bayonet is serial 4591, s/239. The scabbard is serial 5803d, S/155k. On the scabbard you can see that it used to be in a frog, the scratches stop at some point and its just very clean, the bayonet itself the wooden handle has been scratched up (i think for grip) and the blade is in fairly good shape i think, im just looking to get any info on i. Its very pointy, it is starting to show rust any help on stopping that would be appreciated. The button for release works great, no problems there. If you need more pictures, feel free to ask!
