Huion has my defective tablet and won't refund me or send a replacement (and don't respond)
Hi everyone,
I bought a Huion Kamvas 16 (Gen 3) for €468.18 in February 2026.
After several months of normal use, the bottom dial started malfunctioning. It eventually got stuck, and the plastic cap popped off. I contacted Huion support, explained the issue, and sent them photos and videos.
At first, they agreed to give me a full refund and arranged for a courier to pick up the tablet. However, they later changed their mind, saying that I was outside their 30-day return window.
After several emails back and forth, they offered me a replacement instead. I wasn't particularly happy with that solution, since I had already bought another Huion tablet without dials to avoid having the same problem again, but I accepted.
I sent my defective tablet back, and Huion confirmed that they received it.
Then, out of nowhere, they told me I had to pay an additional €25 shipping fee if I wanted them to send me the replacement, simply because my original purchase was more than 30 days old.
I refused to pay extra for a replacement of a defective product, especially since they had never mentioned these fees before I returned the tablet.
I emailed them explaining why I disagreed with the charge and eventually asked for a full refund instead. Since then, they've completely stopped responding.
So now Huion has my tablet, I have no replacement, and I haven't received a refund.
I'm a student, and €468 is a lot of money for me. I had already spent more money buying another tablet because I genuinely thought they were going to refund the defective one, as they originally promised.
I also tried opening a PayPal dispute, but it was automatically rejected because the purchase was made more than 180 days ago.
I'm honestly really disappointed with how Huion has handled this situation. I was initially happy with their customer service, but now I feel like I'm being completely ignored while they still have both my tablet and my money.
Has anyone else experienced something similar with Huion? Did you eventually manage to get your money back?
I'd really appreciate any advice because I genuinely don't know what else to do at this point. I'm based in France if you're wondering.
