Beginner need recommendation

I’m a beginner in both digital and traditional drawing space. I mostly use paper and ink. I have used pro create (iPad) but not great at it since i focused on enhancing my skills on the traditional side first.

Having said that, since there’s an on going sale, can you recommend something on my level that I can use now and maybe 3-5 years down the line (or at least without the features getting outdated immediately).

Long term goal:

-learn to draw more digitally

-be able to animate

Thanks!

Bought the wrong cord and cant return, is there a workaround?

I was wondering if, instead of trashing the unused cord i am unable to return, i am able to connect this cord to my drawing tablet with an adapter or something? I have a kamvas 16 with a mini hdmi, the end that comes with the wrong cord is usbc iirc, not very knowledgeable on this stuff so id appreciate some insight. The only thing wrong with the cord is that it doesnt connect to the tablet, the other ends of the cord that go into the laptop are fine

How to prevent screen scratching

I'm really happy with my tablet, but, I'm having a lot of issues with tips. I don't have the luxury to re-buy a bunch of tips because the official store doesn't exist in my country (hence, all sellers are third parties that hike up prices).

It's not that my tips get worn down super easily, it's that at the slightest wear, they start scratching the tablet - makes an awful noise too - and I have to use progressively less comfortable angles to draw and it still doesn't help.

I don't understand how people can fully wear down a tip, for me it feels like at the slightest wear it needs replacing because of the above issues and I don't want to permanently damage my tablet but it appears I already have...

Am I doing something wrong?

Is Huion kamvas 19 pro good?

Hello! Can someone who has been using this model for more than 6 months please tell me how is it? I'm planning to buy this model but I've been seeing a lot of mixed reviews. I've been working on ipad since a long time so wanted a touchscreen display. But are there any issues?

Smudge on Kamvas 22 that I can't get rid of

Hi, I have this weird smudge in the center of my Kamvas 22 screen. It's blurring the image on the monitor in that area and I can't clean it off. Any suggestions are appreciated

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I just redownloaded my driver after taking a break from drawing for a while and I thought it was fine until it started doing this. This has happened before but that was around a year ago and I can’t remember what I did to fix it. Help would be greatly appreciated because I have several new projects to work on. Also this is a Kamvas 13

Reverse pressure ?? / Huion Kanvas 13

I got this tablet 2nd hand and the stylus for the tablet has the same issue when I use it against the screen as well as my newer pen for my other tablet
The pressure seems to be reversed, I’ve downloaded new/updated drivers and we have looked into pen pressure settings which hasn’t changed the result or gives no pressure completely

We aren’t sure if this is the tablet or pen acting up or anything else?

Decorated my huion kamvas 13 gen 3

I got this baby few days ago but only today was able to decorate after all stuff delivered. This is my first display after 6 years of using desk tablet and it's so unusual to use but im getting used to it slowly. I put all my energy onto front part so back is slightly blank since i don't have energy to decorate more but i will certainly do it later. I got this one because of pink colour and thought that screen would be small but no it's so huge i didnt expected this at all😅 btw hearts on dials do rotate when dials used amd under lace there's lace stickers but they're not visible for some reason. And yeah it's my style i love decorating a lot even my laptop got same treatment but isnt not visible on pics too

Im having usb issues with my Kamvas 22

It started happening recently where the usb cable of my tablet is showing as an unrecognized device to my windows 11 pc. Ive fixed it in the past by uninstalling the driver and unplugging it but the fix seems really inconsistent. It just fixes it self randomly. And now sometimes the usb doesnt even get detected by my pc. Ive tried following the faq expect for the registery key clean up part since im really not confident and im scared i might do it wrong and brick my whole pc.

Did anyone esle here have a similar issue and fixed it ?

I can't tell if my [Kamvas 16 Gen3] has preinstalled screen protector or not.

As the title says, I can't tell if my Kamvas 16 Gen 3 has a pre-installed screen protector. My old XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro came with one, so I assumed this would too (I know its a different brand, im assuming it's standard). However, Google says it doesn't.

Can other Kamvas 16 Gen 3 owners confirm? Does it have a screen protector, or is it just the etched glass?

Huion tablet with or without protectors?

I initially used a Huion none-screen tablet as my first tablet. Then, I switched to an XP-Pen screen tablet (which comes with a protector) for a few years now. I’m currently switching back to a Huion tablet, but this one doesn’t come with a pre-applied protector. I’ve noticed that people draw directly on it because the glass is canvas glass. I’m curious to know if anyone who has bought or used a similar tablet uses a screen protector or not and how long the screen last before having deep/ distracting scratches?

Tablet keys suddenly not working like they should

Huion inspiroy 2 M. Basically when I press a button, it doesn't stick. I have to press and hold, and some of them have outright stopped working altogether. This happened completely out of nowhere, I was using it just fine minutes ago and it decided to do this. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers but that didn't help anything. Any advice on how to fix this is welcome, I really don't want to have to get a new tablet since this one is only a year old.

Problems with Huion Kamvas 16 (Gen 3) - Any Help Appreciated

I bought it in November last year and have been patchy with use, as I haven't been big time into drawing for a while. I bought it to replace my old GT-191.

I love its size and the buttons are really handy (the GT-191 had none), but my experience so far has been extremely frustrating and disheartening.

Firstly, the dial to zoom in / out of the canvas rarely looks properly. Most of the time it jumps back and forth, often zooming in instead of out or out instead of in. I hardly use the dial now because of this, and instead tap on-screen controls with my pen.

However, the WORST issue, and the main reason I am posting this, is the pen continuously draws lines when it's not touching the screen. The lines are tiny, not noticeable unless you zoom in, but EXTREMELY annoying, because it means I have to use ctrl z multiple times to remove my last line, because my software thinks I'm still drawing. The sight of tiny, pixelated lines all over my art is just soooo damn irritating. I shouldn't have to put up with this.

It's making me so angry, especially today. I have swapped my nib, changed pressure sensitivity, reinstalled drivers, used the calibration tools in the app, and nothing works.

Any help would be really appreciated.

EDIT: Just saw there's actually a few recent posts about the Kamas 16 Gen 3 having issues. Damn it.

Would a pen tablet help ?

Hello guys,

I hope you are all having a great day.

I am an amateur photographer and i have been wondering if it is worth it to buy a pen tablet to retouch photos.

I see many photographers use one so i figure it must be useful and makes photo editing easier. But a friend of mine told me photo editors use pen tablets because they make them look cool, and using a mouse is way better.

I'm not really convinced by what he said though, so i'm seeking for different opinions.

Unfortunately i've never own a pen tablet before,

so i do not know if there are specific pen tablets meant for photo editing.

I have a $250 budget. Is there any specific pen tablet you would recommend me to buy or is my friend right and i shouldn't worry about buying a pen tablet in first place.

Thanks for your time

Pen broke and I can't afford to replace it. We adapt

Yes that's tinfoil and part of a rubber glove. It doesn't work all the time but it work. Enough

Will work until I can save up enough to replace it lol
