Anyone get an RFE before the biometrics appointment notice? I got a RFE a few days after submitting my I-485 but no biometrics appointment yet. I did submit a photo for my OPT but not fingerprints in the last 12 months.
Has anyone traveled domestically on flights in the US mainland while you had a pending I-485 AOS for permanent residency + I-130. What documents did you carry and was there any unusual scrutiny? Thanks!
Anyone else try to renew their drivers license with the receipt notice (I-797C) for the I-485 AOS? My license had expired and the DMV scanned my documents and submitted it for reviewing my legal presence. They said I will receive an email once everything is verified and then I can come and apply for my license. Not being able to drive or have an ID that isn’t a passport is very frustrating. Inputs from those who have been though this will be helpful - how long did this process take you? Please mention which state. This was a Virginia DMV. Thanks!

I filed my I-485 online for my marriage based AOS under the new guidelines that allow family based I-485s to be filed online rather than via mail. How long can I expect my receipt notice in my account? It’s been over 48 hours. For context, my spouse’s I-130 had a receipt notice issued in a couple of hours. Thanks!
